In early September the five pillars that support the back of the building had been cast and the steel framework had been delivered to the site.
It took almost two weeks to bolt the steel in place for the Museum, the Visitor Information Centre, and the Auditorium.
By mid-September the job was complete.
We also have a short glimpse of the Museum’s Collection Studio and storage in the basement and the progress of renovations in the library.
