The Queenscliffe Historical Museum is located within the Queenscliffe Community Hub at 49 – 55 Hesse Street, Queenscliff.
The Hub also contains the Library, the Visitors’ Centre, and public toilets.
Queenscliff is located on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, approximately 105 kilometres south-west of Melbourne CBD. The estimated travelling time by car is 1 hour 40 minutes.
Queenscliff is near the town of Point Lonsdale. Both towns come under the Borough of Queenscliffe (note: the Borough spelling of Queenscliffe has an ‘e’ on the end, and the town name is Queenscliff, without the ‘e’.
Plan your visit
The Historical Museum can be reached by car. There is free, time-restricted parking in the town outside and near the Museum.
Buses run to and from Geelong Railway Station, via Ocean Grove, to the Museum at Queenscliff (Bus 56)

The Sorrento ferry goes to and from Queenscliff. It is an approximate 1.1 kilometre walk to the Museum or take the No. 56 bus stop at the Harbour car park to the stop outside the Queenscliffe Community Hub.
ACCESSIBILITY: The Museum is flat and access is via the Community Hub’s flat front entrance court at 49-55 Hesse Street. Accessible toilets are located in the Hub. The Geelong bus stops outside the Community Hub.
